The rural areas might be better protected than the urban areas. Not only do most in those areas have guns, they typically know how to use them.

I keep hearing about Iranian sleeper cell this and that. So media outlets are given advance notice of who the perpetrators of these future acts will be by someone in government obviously.

After taking out most of their senior leadership and bombing their nuclear facilities into oblivion, I don't think Iran wants anymore of that smoke.
