Is there any possibility dems will try to stall border wall construction once the spending bill passes by having left wing property owners on the border claim the wall trespasses on their property?

No, that wouldn’t stop construction, the only issue would be over “just compensation.” But how is constructing a wall on the border (which would also be the property boundary line) anything more than a de minimis taking, if that? The government isn’t doing anything more than fortifying the boundary line.

The federal government, through agencies like U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), is responsible for securing the border and managing immigration and customs enforcement, regardless of land ownership.

Ranchers might complain if their livestock can't access the Rio Grande.

But this is a clear public use.

Negative, The Roosevelt Reservation is a 60-foot-wide strip of federal land along the U.S.-Mexico border in California, Arizona, and New Mexico. This reservation was established by former President Theodore Roosevelt in 1907 for border security purposes.

I was going to say I think the Feds own a strip of property that runs the length of the northern and southern borders.

Better chance Judge Bamburg files an injunction saying Trump has no authority to build a wall.

This is easy.

Build a wall everywhere else so that the only place the people have to cross is through their land.

Article 4 Section 4 of the US constitution guarantees the federal government will protect the states and people from invaders.

Better yet, build the wall and leave their property on the south side of it.
