Did Daniel Dickinson have surgery yesterday?

After winning the championship on Sunday, Daniel Dickinson stated that he was to have surgery to repair a broken bone in his hand "on Tuesday". I've checked on Google, LSUSports.net, and this board but have not seen anything about it. Does anyone know if he did indeed have surgery yesterday? If so, is there any news about the outcome?

Was he scheduled to have surgery yesterday? It's not a life threatening condition and it has to be scheduled ahead of time. It was probably left up to him to do it when he wants to have it done.

Yes. He was scheduled for surgery this week.

Correct. The surgery is completed and went well. Danny will be at the celebration tonight at the Box.

It's been broken for weeks. He's had time to schedule.
