So shocked
The footage is completely opposite of what the murdering kid said
At least he got to walk the stage for graduation … madness… this kid should be in prison yesterday

I've read actual descriptions of the footage and it sounds like you can't see anything of the incident. Not like it matters. At most he touched the killer before he was stabbed to death. That's not self defense.

News article (from the Poli Board thread)
It seems like not much direct evidence was observable, but people are using it as a blank canvas of sort to paint a picture how they want
quote:
The video begins several minutes before the altercation between Karmelo Anthony and Austin Metcalf. The camera, positioned near the press box, captures half of the field at Kuykendall Stadium. The tent where the incident occurred is located in the bleachers near the 50-yard line. Due to the camera's distance, individuals are not easily identifiable.
At approximately 9:55 a.m., a sudden movement is seen under the tent, followed by interaction between two figures. Frisco ISD officials say this is the moment the stabbing occurred. Several people are seen walking or running away, while others approach the area.

Is the daily mail the only source saying this?
If so I’d hold off on posting it. Wouldn’t be surprised if true, but that isn’t a source to run with
Things from actual news sources that have seen the video (abc, Fox News, etc)

The wide-angle video shows a distant view of half the stadium, with the incident unfolding in a small fraction of the top left corner of the screen at the Memorial High School team tent. It's difficult to determine how many people are present or what exactly is happening at the tent.
Metcalf and Anthony are not identifiable in the video shown to WFAA. At around 9:55 a.m., a sudden movement is observed at the tent, but the alleged act itself is not visible. There are a lot of moving, but heavily pixelated, figures at the top of the bleachers, just above the tent and at the bottom of the tent. It appears to be sprinkling at the time.

Well Metcalf is white. What other reason would someone like Anthony need?

Track meets are usually packed. Shouldn’t there be at least a dozen witnesses?

You can’t. And it clearly doesn’t show what was said, or how he felt

You don’t have to be a queer about it. My point was that video likely won’t be dispositive of the case.

Well they have 8 witnesses to what happened. The DA doesn’t need video evidence to convict. If the witnesses tell the same story video evidence is icing on the cake. One kid killed another who was unarmed. Guilty of murder end of fricking story.

Another example of the lies of the left and their desire to romanticize anyone who kills/harms the group of people whom they hate most.

Question about self defense, if a person initiates a confrontation and then the confrontation gets violent can the person who initiated the confrontation actually claim self defense. My understanding is KA had no reason to be at that area of the track meet.

It doesn’t even matter if this is true even though I have heard similar. We always knew nothing really bad happened before the stabbing that would remotely justify the stabbing. That is magnified by the location of school property, during a school event with coaches, other adults, and multiple other teams around including his own team as nothing besides an almost instantly fatal injury would have happened that would not have been quickly stopped by all those people well before anyone in a normal firscoISD culture got hurt at all. Gun shot or a knife to the heart were likely the only 2 acts that would have put anyone in real danger which were not an expectation within FriscoISD culture. Karmelo brought in his North Baton Rouge culture and chose the later.
I have heard from parents of 2 seniors at the high school that Karmelo always brought knives to school, had issues, got away with a lot of stuff due to the school’s growing embrace of black victimhood since the summer of love and of athletic scholarship offers to its athletes as high or even higher than academic offers, and that he even bragged once that he could probably get away with murder at that school.
He is a thug piece of shite murderer dropped by multiple lawyers until he and family could get race baiters involved with a lawyer unethical enough to allow that lie to be pushed.
This is what happens when idiots push their own successful culture that built a city and a great school district is bad and that a broken culture needs to be respected, promoted, and allowed to be pushed in place of their successful one.
