Gatti-Ward 1: Round 9

Hagler-Hearns: Round 1

Youtube Link

I also love me some Greag Haugen versus Vinnie Pazienza.

What you got?

I followed Gatti from the very beginning. He gave everything he had every fight.
Gatti vs Rodriguez was my favorite. Will never be another like him. RIP champ

I can feel the brain damage in that Gatti/Ward fight. What a war.

Do not believe it is in the same echelon as Hagler/Hearns but was voted 93 fight of the year by many. Pick any round from this fight...was lucky enough to be in Vegas for it.

Little Hands of Stone Carbajal is mostly forgotten now but a terrific fighter back in the day who constantly put on great fights along with Humberto.

Dempsey vs Firpo, 1923. Round one Dempsey knocked Firpo (nickname the wild bull of the pampas) down seven times then Firpo knocked Dempsey through the ropes before the end of round one. In the second round Dempsey knocked him out.

Foreman vs Lyle round four

Hagler vs Hearns round one

Hagler-Hearns is the GOAT without question, but another great Hagler round is Round 6 (in particular the final two minutes) of his fight against undefeated John "The Beast" Mugabi who had been wrecking people. Hagler had the hardest head and best chin I've ever seen
