See here {lawful order} is where most liberals would salivate at arguing what exactly is a lawful order and certainly no order that liberals disagreed with could be considered a lawful order. But here's the thing, in the military you're governed by the UCMJ not a progressive Harvard activist judge looking to circumvent standard and reason by any means necessary.

We usually put them out under "Other than Honorable Conditions" as it's less paperwork. All a soldier has to do is miss movement, we do this in the Reserves a lot calling them "AT Rodeos" as it's a lot faster than going the normal route for non-participants.
