Costas finally bit the dust last night. Cracked the lens after accidentally dropping them. What are you guys using for polarized glasses nowadays?

Best I ever had were Hobies with glass lenses. They wound up in the lake when I had to make a sudden movement to avoid a crankbait collision with my face.
Since then I go cheap- Calcutta or Wiley X

Brought these out on the river last summer, worked great

I’ve been wearing some Maui Jim’s with red lenses. I like them, but I think costa’s are better if you’re trying to see down into the water. I couldn’t see bass beds in the spawn as good with the Maui’s.
I’ll probably buy some floating hobies soon. I know it’s just a matter of time before the Maui Jim’s go overboard and I’m out a $300 pair of glasses.

copy paste from the last thread but here's my answer:
There's not really a "catch all" lens but there's one that comes close-
For context I currently have entirely too many pairs of sunglasses in my current collection and have sold/broken/lost countless others.
Best offshore lens is going to be the Bajio blue mirror glass- it's a hair darker than the costas but has a slight brown hue instead of the neutral gray which improves contrast. Problem for me with these is that they are overkill when it's overcast outside.
If you want a do it all lens- the Smith polarchromic in green mirror is the way to go. These lenses will adjust the light transmission between 11 and 23%, which means you can leave the dock wearing them at 6:00 am and they are just at home in full sun at noon- these are also a great everyday/driving pair of sunglasses for the same reason- the tint will adjust to conditions so you aren't having to continuously take them off and put them back on
Those are my picks, and I've currently got or had the following
Costa gold mirror, blue mirror, gray, copper mirror, green mirror
Maui Jim Green Mirror, gray, HLT
Bajio Blue Mirror, Violet mirror
Smith Gold mirror, green mirror, brown
The Bajio blue mirror is the best offshore lens I've ever worn, but I typically reach for the smith, because I can just throw my glasses on my face in the morning and forget about them

I bough a pair of fuse replacement lense for my costa for 40 bucks. They are as good if not
Better than the costa lens. Going to replace every pair I own.

One thing I like about Costa’s is that they make several styles specifically designed to fit big jugheads like me. I’m the guy that has to go to the last notch on the hard hat band

Costa has gone to shite, I’ll be getting Bajio’s next.

Nose piece fell off my bajios so I put a warranty claim in yesterday. They sent me a 100% off replacement coupon code within 6 hours of me putting in the claim. Can’t go wrong with Bajio, Maui or Smith.

Smith's are the best fitting glasses I've found and also top of the line polarized lenses.

Calcutta is under rated.... Great buy for the price.
