Going to have to go to Monroe for work next week. But should have a bunch of downtime. Anything interesting to see/do?

Already planning on going to Skyjacker.

1.)Parish Restaurant
2.)Grab a Beer at Flying Tiger & Enoch’s
3.)Try out the new Hilton Tapestry Hotel Monroe (Roof Top Bar)
4.)antique alley if that’s your thing in West Monroe.

Monroe has a surprising good food scene. There are some decent bars. Other than that you could tour the Chenault aviation museum or bring a boat and go fishing.

Great burgers at the Creamery, right next to Hobby Lobby in West Monroe.

You can drive through ULM's campus in about 3 minutes (if you catch the lights).

Grab a meal and a drink at the Warehouse or Doe's if you want to eat fancy. Have a drink and a meal at Enoch's if you don't want to eat fancy.

If you have quite a bit of extra time and you've never been, you can check out Poverty Point State Historic Site (north of Delhi, about an hour away).

Marvel at how the I-20 high-rise is still standing.

Head out to Pecanland Mall to see the empty stores.

Go to the airport and think of what could have been had Delta stayed in Monroe (and pour one out for the old airport lounge).

Drive around the Booker T area and see how many times you get shot at.
