So you’re saying there’s a chance?

I don't bet a ton, but I'm surprised it's plus money across the board.

It’s still baseball.

No team is going to be negative odds with such a big field left and so many games to play

Arkansas has good odds considering they have entire pitching staff intact

there’s still 7 other teams alive so makes sense that LSU isn’t considered >50% odds to win it all at the moment. Perhaps if we beat ucla it should go to -150ish since we’ll be a heavy favorite to make finals but then still have a whole new series beginning in the championship

Warren Nolan as of today has Coastal with a 26.7% chance to win title and 25.4% chance for LSU

Ehh...they burned Gaeckle for a few days and he is their best pitcher outside of Root. They have Parker Coil in the pen who can give them 3-4 innings and he's solid but he's not a starter. I think thyey are gonna have issues Tuesday with UCLA. I wouldn't be surprised to see DVH run Root out there Tuesday.

#1) God you suck so bad
#2) That's not even a correct statement on the betting odds

+125 means if you bet $100 you win $125

-400 would be your $25 win. If you're going to try and jinx us at least get your math right.

Murray state at +25,000 is kind of wild.

Yeah odds aren't great and I don't think they're going to win it but I might waste $40 on the chance they pull off a miracle and win $10,000

So what you're saying is Arkansas should have the pitching to take care of Murray St and use Root vs UCLA. Then have Gaeckle ready by Wednesday.

Sounds like the odds aren't bad

Correct. The way I look at odds like that is if I’m going to make a $100 bet and win then I would get $100 back so if they’re going to pay me $125 that’s a free extra $25 that I’ll happily take

To each their own

Gaeckle threw 90 pitches on Saturday. He is not going to turn around and have an extended outing on Wednesday.

And they're not going to start Root on Tuesday. Even with him only throwing 38 pitches they're not going to throw him on short rest.

But yeah- you should burn your money for sure. Bet on them.

From here Arkansas would maybe throw Root on Wednesday vs UCLA/LSU winner then Gaekel on Thursday if they make it. But even then he might wait until Thursday to throw Root.

No. Not what I said. I said I think they are going to have an issue with UCLA.

Lol I'm not asking you. I know the math is correct.

Ok. So if they were -400 and you bet a $100 and won $25 by your logic you would have lost $75? It's not an investment, you don't give them $100 then they give you back $125.

It's a bet- Vegas is saying - I'll bet you $125 to your $100 that LSU won't win the national title.

Get it while you can. It won't stay that way if we beat UCLA. Especially if Murray State can do the funniest thing ever.

It’s just baseball
Even Murray State can go on a run, I saw the Durham Bulls do it with one pitcher and a bunch of Lolli Gaggers!

It is to me, that’s how I look at it.

So if they were -400 and you bet a $100

This scenario I look at like if I bet $100 and win I’m getting $100 back but if I lose then I owe $400

Same strokes for different folks. All about how you look at it
