Looking at some of the coverage from DC had me thinking…

Was the Army 250th anniversary parade just a big morale boost / recruiting exercise ahead of WW3? Getting young folks pumped up on the military before the draft.

Exactly this. Grand standing your military power has been done forever.

Separate note, saw my nephew marching with the Ft. Polk group.

I prefer the version yesterday rather than us doing a pride parade with the military. The rest is unknown.

That's awesome.

I wish I could've gone to the parade.

When the commander in chief refers to it as “my parade”, it’s not going to be an effective recruiting tool. It felt forced and not genuine. People see through that this was not in the best interest of the country.

The first chick would make the weight standard. She’s a slump buster though.

I’m just disappointed they didn’t show the uniforms from the war of 1812. I think they’re the best ones imo

Don’t let your irrational fears get the best of you.
Fear is a mind killer.

This is dumb. Every organized public event the Army is in has threads of attracting soldiers.

Should’ve been in the streets knocking out store windows and burning cars, amirite?
