Mine is Milt Sparks Summer Special 2.

My Colt Combat Commander 9mm fits like a glove in it.

Orginally I used Crossbreed holsters. About 10-15 yrs ago I switched to Comp-Tac bc I didn't want to wait months for my holster. I use the MTAC holster depending on which gun I want to carry

Might work in winter with a jacket but summer time carry wouldn’t be very practical.

Everyone is different but I carry every day with no jacket. You wear it under your shirt. However, I am not basically wearing a T-Shirt either. Short sleeve, long sleeve .. makes no difference. I have never had anyone "notice"...

My concern would be in a gunfight that last a few seconds how quickly I could get my gun drawn. Have you trained on drawing from that setup in a pressure situation? Not trying to be as smart arse just curious. If you got into a struggle with someone would you be able to get to you gun under the shirt?

Not a "smart arse" question at all.. to me its an imminently valid question...

All things being equal (from a equally proficient standpoint)... I would have to guess that conceal IWB carry would be just a little quicker.. I will tell you that generally, if someone walks up to me with a gun pointed at me (or a loved one..) asking for my wallet I am not going to try and draw my firearm since they already have me in their sites.. In just about any other circumstance I like my chances by a lot with this holster...

But as always, you have to go with what works best for you. I personally could not do IWB carry mostly because I am a small framed, relatively thin guy that would 1) VERY uncomfortable and 2) I print like a son-of-a-gun. I was ankle carry prior to discovering the Kangaroo Carry option...

And for the record, my EDC is a Sig 229. I would have to go much smaller with any other carry option..

If I go big with the Glock 29 it's my 1791 Smooth Concealment Holster. Even though it's a brick it's super comfortable.

If I go small with my S&W Bodyguard 2.0 it's my Muddy River Tactical pocket holster. Yes, I'm a lefty.

Almost every holster would fail to retain the handgun if you’re involved in a physical confrontation not requiring deadly force.

Need to have a balance of weapon retention and ability to quickly deploy if needed. This takes practice, which majority of folks who CCW fail to do.

Who in the world would downvote a Colt Commander and SS 2?? I've come close to buying a SS 2 on more than one occasion because it is such a classic.

Most of my cc is done w/ a Sig P365 in a Ronin Leather Holster "Okami" OWB holster. Before the Sig, I carried a Kimber Micro 9 in a Ronin Leather Holster "SW Special Snap On". When I started cc, I used IWB holsters, but I now use OWB. When clothing calls for pocket carry, I'll have a Kahr CW380 in a Rob Keaton pocket holster.
