exactly - they are asking for a subsidy but calling it unity and order

we have inherent advantages in terms of raw materials, geography, natural resources, etc - giving that away makes no sense - when you have the better hand you play it

Having every country act solely in their best interest and shitloads of individual treaties. Instead since WW1 we've continually moved towards globalism with efforts of simplified treaties and league of nations. After WW2 the Marshall plan, UN, USAID, etc ...
