Watching Dunn and Carter(Tweety) playing for Baylor makes me sick. These are Louisiana boys and they are playing out of state. They both went to small schools in Louisiana (Class B and Class C) and I watched them play all through high school. I knew both of them were divison one talent but LSU had no shot with either one of them.

It's no secret to the emergence of LSU football. Saban built a fence around Louisiana. Miles is doing a great job on keeping that fence up. Louisiana has good baskeball players. There is a good one playing at Georgetown as a freshman right now too.

When will a basketball coach start the trend for the state's best players to play at LSU???

Tweety passes to much. He needs to put up more shots. The kid can shoot the lights out.

Hopefull it will be Coach Johnson and hopefully he will have it mended and fixed with a rock strong foundation for decades to come. Again, after tonight's performance I think we can see it fixed a lot sooner than later. Coach J is LIGHT years ahead of John Brady in coaching ability and getting a team prepared to play each game. I am so excited to have Coach J lead Tiger Basketball into our 2nd century!!

I know what you mean. Maybe in his sr or jr years he might look to score more. In his high school days he would nail shots consistently from NBA range all game long.

imagine if this team had Tweety Carter to go along with Marcus Thornton, would be sick.

wow, thats how you really pursue a kid and let him know you want him. by doing something a shitload of other schools across the country do and nothing else.

""Before I committed to Baylor I really did not hear too much from LSU," Dunn said."

he had an early scholarship offer from LSU. LSU def wanted him. He prob showed no interest, if I had to guess.

Monroe isnt exactly a basketball pipeline to LSU.

Reporting offers from programs such as Texas, LSU, Ole Miss, Mississippi St., Clemson, and Colorado State, Dunn chose to commit to Baylor for several different reasons.

no, according to your own quote they were Texas, LSU, Ole Miss, Mississippi St., Clemson, Colorado State, and baylor since he committed to them.

7 offers not even half way through your junior year is a lot. i wouldnt expect you to know that though.

dunn and carter =baylor

augustine from brother martin (pre katrina)= texas, now nba soon to be all rookie team

lewis from rummel =USC guard

shan foster of bonnabel, vandy, now nba (mavs drafted him)

hey thats a pretty good team right there. sadly the list goes on and this is from only the last couple of years.

Over and over we continue to see the ones that did not sign with LSU listed. Let's list the ones who did sign:

Stromile Swift
Glenn Davis
Brandon bass
Torris Bright
Tyrus Thomas
Darrel Mitchell
Garret Temple
Collis Temple III
Tasmin Mitchell
Antonio Hudson
Jermaine Williams
Marcus Thornton
Darnell Lazare
Brad Bridgewater
Marquis Ledoux

Not one player you listed helped their team to the Final Four. In faact only Augustine iwi

They can't sign every highly regarded prospect every year. for instance, the year Shan Foster signed with Vandy the Tigers had three scholarships and signed three starters on a Final Four team, Tyrus Thomas, Glen Davis, and Garet Temple.

most of your list are New Orleans area players who have historically elected to leave the state regardless of the LSU coach. It would be great if Trent can break through in that area.

1. theres plenty more on the did not sign list than just the names above. do you want me to post them all again?

2. lsu is SUPPOSED to sign louisiana recruits. the amount they lost out on, plus the quality of those players, is flat out inexcusable.

you fricking moron. do you want a list of all the standout players that did not "help their team to a final 4" and all the shitty players that rode the coattails of others on final 4 teams too?

they can sign them when there is an avilable scholarship. such was the case for monroe, dunn, carter or augustin or lewis, and many more.

thomas was not signed until the spring period. foster signed in the fall. there goes another theory of yours.

lets get a list together of new orleans area players that left pre-brady, and compare it to those that left during brady's tenure.
