How do we get a big time basketball coach if we are not willing to pony up for playera?

You can’t. And the baseball bros think basketball is stupid and like having a crappy basketball program. So there will never be enough support to build a consistently good program

2 top 15 classes in the last 3 years and our coach makes more than some blue bloods. Anybody blaming this on money is either ignorant or dishonest.

Bingo, the rationale doesn’t even make sense and there’s zero practicality to it either.

Well like you said if he can’t win with top 15 talent what will it take? And not only are we below .500, no one has ever been this bad at LSU so it isn’t a matter of getting over a hump. Will it take a top 3 class or the #1 overall class? If that’s the case it’s never going to happen and if that’s what you need to not go 3-15 you just can’t coach period. So like you said again, next season is just a waste of money.
