In Romania, a EU country, they prefer to cancel elections if they dont result in the preferred "democracy" candidate, and then you just arrest the winner before restarting the election

The media convinced you of that. I’m not saying Putin did or did not do any of those things, but if you’re not questioning everything you’ve heard from the media for the last several decades at this point then you’re just ignorant

Agree. It’s purely coincidence that all his political enemies I mean opponents wound up poisoned, fell out of a window, or died in prison for totally not criticizing him.

Why? President of Ireland is mostly a ceremonial position like the Governor -General of Canada or the King of England. Political and governing power rests with the Prime Minister and his cabinet.
