Thinking maybe Schmidt for about four and then throw in some others guys to close it out, and then Ware tomorrow.

Schmidt and Ware would be good guesses. I feel like Noot starts one of the next 2 days. They started and extended him some in the fall/spring scrimmages but haven't found enough spots for him yet.

If they start Schmidt in one of these, I'd imagine it would be tomorrow to give him an extra day of rest. Feel like Ware is also being groomed for a weekend role so the sooner you can get him appearances in the week, the better.

I would bet ware and Schmidt but idk if er want to try and work them into the weekend bullpen at some point.

I would be shocked if we use our 2nd best LHP against Middle [Insert State] Tech on a wednesday all year.

but again, we have 5 games in 6 days.

Ware and then some lesser used guys probably. I doubt Schmidt is thrown out there after 2 days of rest to start.

He only threw about ten or so pitches, though.

Who are you pulling out of the rotation at this point? I know most are skeptical about Eyanson but his K/BB and BAA are better than Shores. We aren't pulling either of them yet. Ware will play an integral role, if not end up a starter, but I'd just keep throwing him during the week and spot him on the weekend. He's the most trusty LHP outside of Kade right now, and we need LH bullpen arms.

I think once conference play starts, Ware's midweek starts end. Maybe he gets one last one ahead of the Mizzou series to keep bulking up his innings.

I kind of want Mayers to get one of these starts.

Thats why i dont think ware ever enters the rotation. They need him in the bullpen badly

Cooper williams may be okay, but he is still got some room to grow. Primeaux is fine, but i dont think he is anything special. They need a really good lefty arm there

I agree, I’d like to see him get a start. He’s filthy, just has to be consistent.

Agreed on Ware. He'll either be in the rotation by Mizzou or the heavy LH arm out of the pen ready for whenever and for however long. Mayers makes me very nervous, but I think we have to extend him before conference to see what it looks like with the lights on. Very high ceiling. Very low floor.

He can’t pitch a clean inning, hard to extend D man
