It died when Mrs.Despo did. She was a sweetheart.
The last few times I went for their signature item(their taco meat)..'twas very greasy and the meat quality was very subpar.
BR Mexican, despite still greatly lacking in quality and variety, has come a long way since the days when LaFonda ruled the roost.
Mestizos, Superior, Ninfas, La Carreta, La Tiendita/Del Sol, La Reyna, a myriad of area taquerias popping up, and Coyote Blues on the way to the old location of One Star on Acadian..
Like all things BR and La, slowly but hopefully..
