Was shooting down to Medellin and Cartagena in March. Thinking of just going to Mexico now with the tarrifs and rhetoric against Colombia not sure if there will be backlash.

Of all the places, why would you go there...and then why would you go to MX?

Go to Costa Rica.

The US will not go ahead with tariffs on Colombia, after Bogota agreed to accept - without restrictions - deported migrants, the White House says.

You strategy to avoid tariff related issues (which the Colombians caved to Trump's demands quick fast) is to visit another country we're threatening with tariffs?

The price of travel takes 2 hours to get to Cancun 4 to get to Cartagena. I live Isla Mujeres and will likely get a condo there soon.
What makes Costa better? Maybe I'll go there in summer.

Yeah but I'm really comfortable in mexico.
I know isla mujeres well. Know people they're don't feel like an outsider. I feel like an alien in colombia. But the woman make it worth while.
Really is an amazing place for a single guy to go.

Why not just go to Florida for ultimate comfort? Stretch, my man. There's no reason to take time off of work and book tickets if you're going to keep going back to the same McDonalds (Mexico) over and over.

I just felt so safe in CR, they "like" Americans, and it's way more stable than Colombia - especially now.

Mexico is more fun, cheaper and quicker to get to than Florida.

They like us in Colombia, or the women do.
I'll check Costa out though. That and Panama are on my next list along with Vietnam.

Hahaha - apologies, I was not aware you were on an American seed-sowing mission. Happy hunting!
