Where are all these farms that hired illegals?

The left keeps saying our groceries are about to cost more because of deportation of farm workers. I don’t know one farmer in Louisiana and up the Delta that would risk losing their workers on visas to employ just one illegal.

Oh yes, the glorious harvest season of January in the USA..... I think at this point in the year they're down in Mexico harvesting down there where they're still growing some of the crops

Proof the left has no problem with slave labor.

Maybe California hires illegals for agriculture work, but most places, there are laws and temporary work visas are required. The left simply wants slave labor on the backs of those they claim to care for.

Minimal effect at best. Don't sweat it.

Tyson & butterball in Arkansas for sure has tons of migrants/illegals.

Over the years I've known a lot of N LA farmers who used illegals. With most local Sheriff's Depts giving the heads up about any Fed interest. LA Sheriffs are almost universally corrupt. But my understanding is that the process has been streamlined somewhat to allow those same workers on temp visas.

I know the cane farmers go to great lengths to ensure the workers have work visas. They get the same guys year after year. They all must leave for a few months each year.

Plenty of illegals, not migrants on construction sites all over Arkansas.
Builders in general are culpable for stuffing wads of cash in their pockets hiring these illegal m'fers.

As a matter of fact, yes. We harvest year round for all sorts of vegetables and fruits.

Truth of the matter is an H-2A temporary farm workers visa is an option for farmers. If a farmer can't get American residents to do the work, they can go that route.
It's the libs in media and TV whining about this stuff. Not the farmers. They already know how to get workers.

I won't say the name of the farms but in Pender County NC. I watched them bus in illegals to pick strawberries, blueberries and so on...
The farms will have to pay. The illegals wear long sleeves in the heat and humidity and seem to be better workers and don't get sunburned.

Go to CA and you will see tons of fields that are full of stuff that machines just can't do a good job of picking.

My BIL runs a large ag operation in Midwest. Completely legit visa operation where migrant workers come in for set amount of time. They are monitored closely and drinking alcohol can result in them being sent home.
BIL cannot risk operation with illegals either.
