Their fresh lasagna is really good. They make a small for 16 bucks that they say serves 4 (but I say 3), and a large for $45 that feeds 8 easy. Was a winner at the hunting camp for a throw in the oven meal. They sell frozen too but fresh is my fav. Good muffalettas and lots of rare Italian goods, fun to browse there. And supporting a good fam that hails from the original location in Melville. This prob reads like an ad for them but I just love their stuff and supporting LA local when they do it right.

That large lasagne…do I have to order ahead of time or can I walk in and grab it?

The owner is a great guy. Saw him not long ago. Pretty sure they closed the Melville location a while back.

Someone brought me some lasagna from there and it was very good. Some years ago, we took a road trip to the one in Palmetto, but it didn't have much of their good stuff at all. I don't know if it's even still open. We were able to get a muffaletta that was excellent.

Defrosted and baked their Chicken Fettuccine during the snow, and it was also 10/10. My mom loves their Shrimp and Eggplant take and bake as well.

I am partial to Anthony's style lasagna (ground meat) over the braised strings of meat, but both are great options to have around.

Grant and his wife Pam are the real deal. Everything they make is solid. I have family from Melville and miss eating at Canatellas. Grant did offer a delivery "drop off location" in Lafayette back in 2023-24 but not sure if they are still doing it. I would buy their muff bread to make muffalettas.
