I was feeding my dogs Muenster brand dog food for years. Around covid time, I started having a difficult time finding it and also ran into a couple of bags that had mold so I switched them to Purina pro plan. Now my local feed store perpetually doesn't have the large breed chicken large bag in stock. Anyone feed their dogs purina pro plan chicken and are you having an issue sourcing it or is my local feed store not ordering enough quantities?

What is the dry dog food of choice of the OB? I'm not going with the BARF diet. Just want something reasonably healthy and readily available.

Totally against using Chewy? I use Purina Pro chicken and just have it delivered. It's a few bucks cheaper than the local Tractor Supply with free shipping if you set it as a subscription.

I actually already have a subscription of treats and pig ears from them. I guess I'll throw the dog food on there with it. Do they charge extra for shipping since the food is a little heavier or is it still covered under free shipping? I guess I'll have to figure out how often I go through a bag. I havent really clocked it. Just go grab another bag when we run low.

I think if you have a subsciption it's covered. Either that or we get two bags at a time and have the subscription set to a longer interval so it goes above the minimum. I'll have to ask my wife, I just fill the bin when it arrives and don't pay any other attention to it. I do know the shipping is free, though.

I feed my GSP Royal Canin. Never had any issues with it. Buy it at the local pet store and through Amazon.

I feed my cat should Walmart brand for large breed dog. I think it’s called pure balance or something like that.

He’s done really well with it.

Ours get Purina Pro Plan. Wally World carries 40# bags, they eat the shredded kind, Lamb and Brown Rice. GF pays for WalMart + so it’s free delivery.
