Would be fun, but to be honest my experience in super cold and snow/sleet/freezing rain has been subpar when deer hunting here in the south. They don't know what the hell to do in that stuff just like us lol. Now, when it starts defrosting a little, get ready. I'm hunting Monday for sure, with the thinking they'll have to feed heavy before that crazy stuff comes through and will be bedded down for a while. Again later in the week should be good as well when it starts getting above freezing again and the thaw starts.

Agree with that. Hunted the last cold spell and didn't see a deer. As soon as I left camp and it started to warm up a little cameras were back up with deer activity, lol

I plan to be hunting later in the week, but it’s looking like it will mess up crew change day.

Our field freezes over pretty easily. May be limited.

Hunting through Monday and will hunt Tuesday if weather allows to get home and work/school is cancelled.

I expect Sunday to be very good for ducks.... I hope.... Also hope it's good for little hammer and his buck....

Afraid so. Clients didn’t kill enough does again this season.

Do you guide? If so where at? I'm looking into a bowhunt for somewhere next season. Not necessarily a trophy hunt but possibly a management buck and a doe or 2. Not looking to spend a fortune or chase em in a pen necessarily.

Wait, so you have to pick up the doe slack?!?

It’s a hard life, but it’s fair.
