This is the shite people are talking about when they say college football desperately needs a CBA. This is highway robbery but he justifies it by saying the amount of money he gets is equal to professional sports industry standards of 3-5%. Also, apparently this guy has a history with directing players away from Tulane?

And the players make millions playing a children’s game. Who deserves what? I don’t know anymore.

Well it is.

Are agents required?

Professional leagues have strict policies regulating agents.

Yes, obviously. But NIL has made me question the amount of money our society ties up in these games. Could be better spent and given to better people.

Did you watch the video? Yes 3-5% is the industry standard in professional sports. I know a guy who was a baseball agent for 20+ years and his commission was 3%. This guy is trying to get rich ripping off college players with a 20% commission, which is something people have been sued over in the past with high school baseball players. If you’re trying to get rich as an agent, get certified and represent pros, don’t try to collect commissions on 6 figure deals.

I recall a poster on here saying that Raising Canes kept making fingers smaller and raising prices. But they get away with it since people keep paying. I feel it’s the same with college FB, schools, coaches, and players NIL. They’ll keep getting away with it as long as fans are watching and paying for it,

Saying that money could be put in better places than the pockets of college athletes and their agents is “Communism” according to you? Take a minute to reflect brother!

Athletes across many sports have been getting paid a ton of money for decades and NIL for a couple hundred CFB players is what broke you? Really?

You don't hear complaints about them making money, but you're not paying attention if you don't hear complaints about rising concessions, parking, and taxpayer subsidies of stadiums for more profit to go to the owners. You'll also usually hear people siding with players over owners come cba time.
