what I saw was two defenses who played physical, tackles well, rushes the passer well and covers well. Clearly this reaosn our defense wasn’t close to looking like either of those units but how close are we to getting there ?

I think we’re finally bringing in the talent with this recruiting class, someone promising freshmen goin into year 2 and our strong portal class.

Didn't we lead the SEC in QB pressures? I think if we shore up some things on the back end and our portal guys are actually solid we might not be as far off as you think.

Not close. Outside of 40 none of lsu front 7 would start on either of those teams.

Different universe. Been so long since we had defensive play makers. Maybe 2019? And definitely before that. But not since 2019

Not that far. We added tons of talent this offseason, and we already improved a good bit on 2024. We’re not as far off as some of you think.

I think we can be top 50 next year and top 30 the next. Bo Davis, peoples and CR will do what they do. Wait and see on Olsen

Idk, but in the end, it didn’t matter for Texas. Sark’s long stretch play on 1st and goal was the killer. Poor decision and strategy. They can “D” all day, but they also finished without “the golden labia” trophy.

LSU hasn't been strong or aggressive since BK arrived and fired Moffitt. A&M plays different with Moffitt. They and other teams outpaced LSU in the second half of games this season. It's was clear LSU was gassed.

Notice how tough and aggressive ND plays now?
