2nd time he's gotten canned in as many years and Browns also let OL coach go as well. Stefanski expected to stay on next year

quote:

BEREA — The changes have begun for the Browns after their dismal 3-14 season.

A league source confirmed for the Beacon Journal that both offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey and offensive line coach Andy Dickerson have been fired after just one season on the job. NFL Network's Tom Pelissero was first to report.

The Browns concluded their season Saturday night with a 35-10 loss at the Baltimore Ravens. Cleveland can secure the No. 1 overall pick with wins today by the New England Patriots (vs. Buffalo Bills) and Tennessee Titans (vs. Houston Texans).

Wild if Stefanski survives 2 consecutive seasons where they force an OC /OL coach change given he’s an offensive coach himself

That is kinda crazy. You usually don't see that.

Has anyone fell this quickly?

2022 promoted to Bills OC, finish season 2nd in points 2nd in yards.

Starts 2023 off poorly 5-5 and gets fired.

Takes awful Browns job and gets fired again, although I'm not sure any OC could have done much there this year.

I guess 2022 was a fluke? He was one of the hottest offensive names in '21 and '22.

I'd love for Stefanski to become available for the Saints.

He probably sucks but he was also handcuffed with Deshaun. Finally had the offense at least moving with Jameis but then he'd throw a pick. Then they benched Jameis to tank with DTR, who is Tim Boyle level as a qb.

Appears fairly convenient for Stefanski as he was actually the one calling plays through the end of October, at which time he gave that duty to Dorsey.

Freddie Kitchens is staring us right in the face in terms of that category for falling quickly

Had 6 games of success with Baker, gets hired full time, offense instantly sucks and he’s canned almost immediately

And now he's OC at North Carolina

That's a good one. But amazing was the fall of Weiss once he didn't have Brady.

Fell off the wagon afterwards. He ended up at Kansas last I heard.

He was the UF OC under Muschamp in 2011. He was mid but John Brantley was one of the worst QBs to suit up in CFB.

No coach should be judged for their time in Cleveland. Worst franchise in the NFL, and they deserve what they get for signing that predator to a guaranteed deal.

Shitty quarterback play has cost hundreds of people their jobs in the NFL in the last 20 years alone.

It's a QB league and if you don't have a great one, your tenure is going to be very short, and the Browns are a QB train-wreck right now.
