Coleslaw goes so well with fried food. You can mass produce it easy. Seems like a no brainer.

They used to have the best coleslaw. Such a shame they got rid of it. Was dynamite on their sandwich.

ETA: I think some of the Truetts still have it

Shut up and eat your Superfood Side, which took its place.

Superfood Side: Broccolini® & kale blend, maple vinaigrette dressing & dried sour cherries with roasted nut blend.

Would you like to know what it actually is? A lab created (fake) food-like product designed to taste good.

Pasta
Water
American Cheese (and its ingredients)
Margarine (and its ingredients)
Soybean Oil (and its ingredients)
Other Cheeses (and their ingredients)
Butter, salt, sugar, egg (shelf stable)
Thickeners and preservatives

That's about what I thought would be in Mac & Cheese from a place that fries chicken and potatoes for profit.

He does this enough for me to notice, with the ingredient lists like anyone gives a shite.

you are not required to give a shite, but I’m not sure how having more information is uncomfortable for some people. Processed food is garbage we all know that

Eat it occasionally and no problem. Eat it chronically and you get a 40% obesity rate

I would like to preface this with the fact that I think Chic-fil-a (outside of their breakfast) is pickle flavored trash, and have the worst fries in the game. The Mac and Cheese is decent, very Stouffer's like, not necessarily my go to, but at least it's a homemade style. They are not trying to church it up (pun intended) with a Applewood Bacon Smoked Gouda and Gruyere Mac with a bread crumb topping, very simple.

However,

level of fear mongering on a coleslaw thread is what caused a response. I love a good coleslaw, (Canes is trash/Mike Anderson's GOAT). Although, I'm sure the executive chefs in the test kitchen at Chic-fil-a HQ, would love to tell their parents they are Lab Scientist, even if they are evil lab scientists.

Information is good, but not always helpful depending on the audience. The drive thru lines didn't get any shorter when they added calories to the menu. It is surprise that Chic-fil-a is serving processed foods, and carbonated drinks with enough sugar in them for a week, (or worse chemicals to replace the taste of sugar). American cheese, other processed cheeses, and margarine will have more ingredients than the cheese wheels at Whole Foods or butter, should be common sense.

Life is terminal... every time. Gotta enjoy it while you're here!
