To murder the Hessians in their sleep and capture a much-needed victory for the American cause at the end of 1776.

- George Washington
- James Madison
- James Monroe

I’m in the process of applying for membership in the Society of the Cincinnati.

Is anyone here a member?

Probably the most accurate reenactment ever produced about the event:

One of my great X whatever grandfather was there. He was an officer under Washington during the revolutionary war.

America became a country and 247 years later they were receiving billions of dollars from US to fund the money laundering war.

Is it really accurate that there was ice on river?

Not terribly familiar with that region but seems a bit early in the year for river ice....Does the Delaware even freeze over regularly?

eta, I looked it up . Not a common occurrence and likely not jagged ice as painted but ice was present. The time around 1776 was considered by some to be a mini-ice age.

My ancestor was the helmsman of that ferry. My Grandmother was a member of the DAR.

Are you questioning climate change? It really sounds like you’re questioning climate change.
