Either one of these teams if they had our schedule would not be close to the playoffs. Neither played anyone. ND played A&M first game of the year and beat them. That was their signature win.
Indiana didn't beat anyone worth a shite. They got destroyed at home by the only team they played.

Notre Dame would’ve been in the playoffs probably 5 times under Kelly with the current format.
He did make it twice - and under the 4 team format.
