Yeah he has no choice or Trump would probably not allow him to get his pension. I believe Trump did that when he fired McCabe but Biden gave it back to McCabe.

Deal was made.

Probably allowed him to retain his pension and security clearance with his resignation.

I'm fairly sure Trump could revoke his security clearance, but could be wrong.

Well, he'll most likely parachute in to a nice, soft landing as a board member at some industry think tank.

This is why the new Trump is so much better than the old Trump. The old Trump would have told that bitch on NBC that Wray's days are numbered, and the entire media would have ree reeee'd all week about the end of democracy. Instead, he carefully signals his displeasure with Wray and lets things take care of themselves. This way his hands stay clean and he doesn't risk triggering the snowflakes at the FBI which could easily result in retaliatory lawfare.

The latter is a non-starter for me.

A whole shitton of people need to lose security clearances, starting with the gang of 51.

He needs to be the first of many.

Shredders and servers and hard drives are going to burn up from overuse over the next month.
