That may be an understatement.
Wins away from home in college basketball are huge. Wins in true road games are even bigger (that's why they count for almost double in the NET formula). This is LSU's only true road game of the OOC schedule. If they can get this one and a few of the neutral site games remaining they will go into SEC play with a very meaningful chance to compete for a NCAA Tournament bid.
This isn't college football or baseball where the OOC games are largely meaningless relative to a team's postseason chances. These games matter significantly!
