This guy Barry Cunningham explains the hypothetical and how the news cycle would not have enough time to respond before election DAY.
No tax on anyone, including the overpaid "news readers". They would have to be some really good actors to pretend they would not, personally like that.

The fair tax is by far the best way forward BUT I have ethical issues with lobbing this out there the before the election because it would be disingenuous vote buying and not truly part of his platform

I think he actually will push no federal income tax on tips it's such a small part of it anyway there may still be a state income tax and people will try to bitch about that
