Would you rather retire at a beach house, mountain lodge, or prairie house?

Those are your only 3 options. Which one and why? TIA

Mountain lodge in Oregon or Montana.
I don’t know who in their right mind would want to live on a beach right now.

Mountain Lodge.
Cool in the summers, no neighbors most likely. No sand and tourists to deal with

For retirement, beach. Up to retirement age, mountain lodge.

I used to be 100% beach, as I get older the heat, sand, and everything else that comes with living at the beach is becoming a no.
I would pick a lake somewhere in Tennessee or the Carolina's but that's not an option so I will go with mountain lodge.

Mountain and it’s not close!
Next would be prairie.
Then beach.

My initial instinct is mountain lodge, but a beach house in the Monterey/Carmel CA area would be heaven. To afford one I must be rich af in this scenario, and it’s perfect weather year round.

Prairie sounds nice as long as it's not in Praireville

Mountains would be pretty miserable in winter if you are old and cant be super active.

Mountain lodge. Clean crisp air and great views. Fireplace roaring in a snug cabin. I can always add a layer of clothing but, you can only take off just so many clothes in the heat of the South.

Our plan is splitting time between beach, ranch and a mountain house.
