BR Area Restaurant Suggestions

We have some clients coming into town in a few weeks and want them to get a good taste of local cuisine. It will be about 15 people so a private room would be ideal. Since it’s on a Monday, we typically go to French Market Bistro, but does anyone here have any solid recommendations?

Louisiana Lagniappe but I'm not sure if they have a private room.

What’s the trap? It seems like a lot of restaurants are closed on Mondays. We took them to French Market Bistro last time they were here and thought it’d be a good idea to try something new for them

Mansurs and Jubans would be my first two picks. Haven't been to The Colonel's Club yet, but it seems like it could fit the bill.

French Market Bistro
French Market is legit.
Other:
Portobellos - I believe they can handle 15 in a private room.
Ruffinos (looks like they don't do lunch on Monday)
Drusilla
Little Village

We've had a few meetings at Drusilla Seafood recently. Food is much better than I remember a few years ago. They offer private rooms at no charge, just call ahead and see if it's available.

Juban's and Louisiana Lagniappe are the best

If you'd like to go in a different direction, Phil's Oyster Bar has a back room. My family had a function there with about 12-15 people many years ago, but it seems like Phil's never changes. Phil's is open on Monday's, too.

Mansur’s and Jubans are your best options for food plus private room
