1. Sound system is fine, didn't feel like much changed. The size of the screen was the bigger change, literally.
2. Music was great IMO. Music and band went back and forth appropriately.
3. Lights finally got figured out and wristbands were a lot of fun.
4. See 4, but probably won't see them again unless someone wants to pay for them.
5. I rarely eat/drink in the stadium. Always fill up at a tailgate prior to coming in.
6. Bathrooms seemed fine. Lots of people stayed in their seats most of the game.
7. Get there 30 minutes early and you'll be fine to get to your seat in 5 minutes.

The one glaring weakness of Tiger Stadium. In DESPERATE need for an upgraded sound system.

3. How were the lights?

AMAZING

4. wrist band seems like a hit...if you bring them to another game will they work? What is the plan ?

No. Each wrist band is meant for a specific section. They are one time use.

5. How was the food? Plenty of water?

Much improved this year. More options and quality is more consistent.

6. Lines for bathrooms?

Yes, but to be fair the stadium was packed to the rim

7. Security to get? how long did it take to get in?

Never an issue

Doubt we see the wristbands again since people started chunking them into the crowd.

They used to not give you the cap for your water bottle for fear of throwing it on the field but instead gave 100k tiny rocks ??

The sound system has certainly changed this season, and for the better. For one, you can hear the PA after the plays. If music is playing, the music audio automatically decreases so that the PA can be heard over top of it.

It used to sound so loud in the north end, and hardly heard at all in the south end because we only had speakers on the north end. I believe that has been adjusted, and speakers added to the south end, but I admit I haven't sat near the south end this season.

I expect to see the wristbands back for the Bama game.

The Ucla game the sound system seemed to be way too loud. Like obnoxiously loud. This week it was much better.

Music and lights were fine. Not particularly my style but if it keeps the students hyped and the players and recruits then it’s doing it’s job.

Lights were cool, as a one time for now. Again late in the year or next year would be fine.

they just upgraded the sound system...

so it seems like you can't tell or were dissappointed?

some of the recordings posted on social media, it sounded like the base was upgraded for sure, hard to tell with 100k fans cheering

Only thing I hated was the lack of replays on the big screen when the refs were reviewing. Someone else in another thread pointed out this may be an SEC rule though. When Whit Weeks was almost ejected, they weren't showing the replay and then the ref's mic went out so nobody knew it Weeks was ejected or not.

1. How was the sound system? Much better than last yr and very loud.

2. How was hte music selection? Crowd liked it a lot but may be a problem if you dont like some of the modern genre. They also pit a lot of effort into syching the music and choreography

3. How were the lights? They got it right finally. Evidently they were holding back.

4. wrist band seems like a hit...if you bring them to another game will they work? What is the plan ? I suspect the battery will run down. No way to turn off.

5. How was the food? Plenty of water? N/A

6. Lines for bathrooms? Long. Big capacity crowd been drinking heavily all day…

7. Security to get? how long did it take to get in? 2 min but I go express because I have no carry in stuff

BITCH
Replays are almost non existent. People in my section were actually chanting Replay!

I genuinely cannot tell a difference in the sound system compared to last season. I know they upgraded the speakers in the north endzone scoreboard, but the primary problem is that those are the only speakers in the whole stadium. There needs to be speakers spread around the stadium and balanced out.

This was not all on the rule because the fumble right before the half was never shown on replay in the stadium even though the refs were not reviewing and OM called a TO. The refs did not do anything about it and just spotted the ball for play. It wasnt until after the teams lined up after the TO that replay buzzed in.

LSU can replay any play between plays that is not under review.

If I had to guess, I would think that they left it at the same volume for both games, and the UCLA game seemed louder because the sound was richocheting off of 40K empty seats, while there were more people to absorb the sound vs Ole Miss.

How do they compare with Bama? Seems like there are less actual lights being used for effects than at Brian Dennehy.

Everything was great except for

1. Ref's mic was cutting out and hard to understand
2. Very few replays shown after questionable calls
3. Reviews made the game about an hour longer than it needed to be

BEST part was the stunned look on Piss fans' faces when the Tigers took their soul.

This is exactly right from the perspective of the west/northwest uppers. I see people still complaining about the sound system this season and can only think they haven't actually been this season. It is worlds better this season. In the last few it was often impossible to understand the announcer even if no music was playing.
