Greatest villains of the 21st century so far?

We are almost a quarter of the way through the century and I thought it would be an idea to list some of cinema's greatest villains in these first 25 calendar years. I'm sure there will be a wide range of opinion on this but I think some of these will reach consensus. This isn't in any particular order but are the first that come to my head:

Thanos has to be in there considering one of the biggest movies of the era is centered around him tearing apart through every hero to win.

Like you lost but Fletcher isn’t a villain and Candie isn’t near the level of the others. Maybe replace them with Ava from Ex Machina and Daniel Plainview from There Will be Blood.
