The more accurate stat is 1st time takers.

I'd like to see the stats for repeaters v. first timers.
In Texas, 85% of the first times pass (if they went to a Texas law school, the number is a little lower for out of state law schools). The passing rate for repeaters runs in the 30's.
Repeaters are largely in two groups. The first group are people who got nervous and they choke. The second group are people who have no business being lawyers.

Is it true that the exam is multiple choice now?

Yikes the stats for Southern's takers that were on their 2nd attempt or more...
46 test repeaters
3 passed as repeaters
42 of the 46 from Southern who took the exam for the 2nd time or greater, failed. 91% fail rate for the repeaters from Southern.
In comparison here are the stats for repeaters in the other schools
LSU: 5 repeaters, 4 fail 1 pass.
Loyola: 4 repeaters, 3 fail 1 pass.
Tulane: 8 repeaters, 4 pass 4 fail.

This tells me if you don’t pass it the first time, go find something else to do.

What are the Southern Law admissions standards? Other than being able to spell your name right on your application.

We just need to lower the standards

Just need a pulse. Not sure you have to be able to spell name correctly
