Taking all my bias out, this whole campaign cycle should be concerning for everyone.

I'm voting for Trump. I would’ve preferred someone else, but I’ll take a guy who actually wants to implement my priorities, even if his approach isn’t ideal.
What concerns me most is the media’s blatant campaign in favor of the Democrats. There’s always been some bias, but this is unprecedented. None of them can explain why they’re hopeful about the Democratic candidate; it’s clear they want Trump out. I’ve never seen anything this bad… they’re flat out CAMPAIGNING for a candidate they have nothing to boast about because she’s done nothing. That’s troubling. The media should not get their way in an election. This is dangerous as shite. I would feel the same if all the mainstream was pushing Trump. It’s a gross feeling.
Democrat voters seem to either be aware of this campaign and don’t care (Trump Derangement Syndrome), or they are just oblivious, living in a bubble where the media's narrative goes unchallenged. frick all of them tbh, but for those who know and don’t care, I ask: What happens when the media supports a candidate you don’t like? The Democrats, who already wield too much power in the mainstream, may not always align with your interests.
And if you think that can’t happen, consider how Jewish voters feel about the Democrats now. While I’m not predicting a red wave among them, many are frustrated, and the Democrats are likely to see a decline in their support.
Kind of goes back to what Elon said. You can support censorship / forced speech and allow the media to get away with such gaslighting and propaganda, just know that eventually it will be turned against you.
TL;DR - media campaign is dangerous and this cycle it’s unprecedented. I don’t know how people are OK with this, and they should be aware that eventually the media will not be pumping up their preferred candidate.

Well I surely feel better now

This is what happens when half the people in this country are dependent upon the government.
Said it before, but votes should be weighted more toward those who pay more in taxes
Unfortunate fact that this country is overrun with lazy people who do nothing to contribute to society soaking up government benefits.

Not me.
What concerns me the most is the Democrat cheating in Atlanta, Philly, Milwaukie, Los Vegas, and Maricopa County.

You should have to own property or be paying on a mortgage to vote.

At this point I dont think you can call the coverage unprecedented. Its been this way foir a while. The media is absolutely vile.

They shouldn’t be called “the media” or “news” or “reporters” any more. They are the advertising wing of the Democrat party.

I think Britain would’ve done this had they won the revolution.
You’re essentially describing a timocracy and I don’t think it’s practical at this point since so few people own anything in the younger generation. That’s just begging for a massive revolt. Timocracy will inevitably turn into a democracy for this reason. And democracy, I’m starting to think, will inevitably result in tyranny. Plato knew his shite.

None of that even comes close to what we’re seeing now. Even with Hillary I never saw anything quite this bad.

You should maybe have to be a net tax paying citizen. But having to own property or have a mortgage is dumb. What if you’re a high earner who relocates and is temporarily renting during an election year, you just can’t vote? Dumb.

This isn't unprecedented or new. Rush Limbaugh pointed it out long ago.

Thanks for the thoughtful post.
I've suspected for many years, there are hard and soft kickbacks given to news organizations. Some may be incentives, such as financial... "you play ball with us and here are your advertisers, executive and reporter junkets. If you don't you will never be in this business again"... Organized Crime has nothing on the Democratic party
I've watch as CNN (who was as bad as MSNBC until a couple of years ago) has started falling out of favor with the Democrats of late, perhaps one day they will return to truth-telling and fact-finding.
For the remainder - video, the printed or electronic press... They will either continue to 'assist' in the destruction of our country, or need to be reformed (or even burned to the ground and restarted).
Our country can't continue with the corruption of the media as it is now. The majority of our populus are good people, though many are misled with confirmation bias or hearing what they want to hear. Most people simply want fair, balanced news without bias. If you look at some of the people in these organizations, you can see where the socialists, the woke, the fringe of the DNC have landed in order to collect a paycheck. Licensing these individuals, would seem to be a good start but I'm not naive enough to think this would solve the problem.
I echoed before Mark Twains old statement -- "If you don't read the newspaper, you're uninformed. If you do, you're misinformed"
I'm prepared to be uninformed and ingnorant.

I am concerned because of what is at stake in this election. Unfortunately all I can do is vote, pray, and make campaign contributions.

Out corrupt and non-credible election system is the biggest concern.
If half of the people believe that they are disenfranchised by the system that is enough to dissolve the union.

I feel its no longer about whats best for the country, its about winning and losing.
If Trump would become a little less unhinged on his statements and focus more on the facts and state of the country, he would beat her by a mile.
