Lafayette food tonight

Help us find a place to eat in Lafayette tonight. I'm looking for a bar like feel so I can drink beer and forget about my problems and the ole lady wants Mexican. I know its 2 different types of food but still... help us out. nb4pics. TIA!!

We lack a good mexican restaurant for what you seek. La Pagua has good food, but not the bar scene. Maybe La Fonda if you can get a spot.

Superior is probably lined up out the door, but solid food and a margarita will definitely make you forget your problems

Mesican Food ...I don't think so....you never had Mesican food if you think LaFonda's is Mesican food,,,,now they do have some good shite...its called fried chicken...went to Jelly Roll concert and stop there about 6 with 2 bottles of good champagne and got 4 pieces of chicken and it was on.....NO NO Lafonda's is not Mesican food...don't insult the Mesicans they provide most ot the labor here in this town and ain't never seen a Mesican in LaFonda's . Gringo's yes but no Mesicans!

I frequent some of the “Messican” places in Lafayette and I see Hondurans, some Costa Ricans and Guatemalans, a few Nicaraguans, and maybe a Panamanian or two. But not many “Messicans”.
Also, LaFonda has always been Tex-Mex!
