I was surprised to hear that. I don’t know what they’re seeing, but I’m not seeing it. I love the tigers, but we are not a great team, 8 or 9 wins is not great, it’s good.

Why?

LSU is decently talented, but not talented enough to overcome bad play calling every second half.

I don’t see that being fixed this season.

It’s an annual occurrence. They always rank us higher than we should because of potential. Sadly our coaching staffs over the last few years haven’t tapped into it and look lost.

Time heals all wounds
I can see this team learning from its mistakes and going on a run and not losing again leading up to the Ole Miss game
Against Ole Miss, hopefully the magic of Tiger Stadium will be a big factor.

We don’t have a bad team. Our play calling in the second half really screwed us. Have no idea why we got so conservative. Hopefully Sloan learns from it.

Ah yes, we will continue to ride a one game sample size and use it as a measuring stick for the rest of the season.

We beat the brakes off of FSU the previous two years if we play them at the end of the year (even with a fully healthy Jordan Travis). Staff and players learn a ton from each loss. We learn nothing about this team tonight other than who might be a better backup at certain key positions.

Since every team is done developing by labor day, we should just convince the season into one week eh?

Because they see us for what we are without all the emotion you see on this board (definitely including myself). What a weird feeling to have Saban make me feel a little better.

That game was too close to write LSU completely off the rest of the reason, anyone with objective reasoning can see that.

This was different...every single one of them said they thought LSU was good, even the Stanford Steve dude....that they are still very much in it. I guess they didn't check with TN Tyhah though...he says we are already eliminated.

It’s pathetic the amount of people on this board that are upset about Gameday saying they have the potential to be a good team. Will never understand how people live life so negatively.

I finally watched the USC game today for the 1st time. I see what the game day crew does. This LSU team has issues that can be fixed with coaching and they will be a handful by mid season. Talent is there. Nuss is the real deal.

I do too.

USC played well.
Good players , they looked big and fast.

Not a pushover

Made more plays than we did and got more lucky breaks than we did.

Sometimes that's what it takes to win
