How many runs and end of games will CJ ruin???

All this talent now to close out a game and go on also serious runs throughout a game. Only problem is will still have CJ who likes to take to go into iso mode and take and miss shots at the most untimely moments.
Did it in Portland and has done it here Dame could have hit 4 big shots in a row and here comes CJ clank brick, run over. So do yall think CJ will adjust in year 12 or whatever year he is in?

Your end of game lineup might not even feature CJ.
Murray
Jones
Murphy
Ingram
Zion
Murray being the most clutch

Not enough shooting on the floor.

I 100% can see where you are coming from here and it is true.
But... Fans are greatly undervaluing and underestimating what a starting PG does in the NBA. It's hard to understand that considering we have had essentially (2) in Rondo + CP3 for the last 20 years.
I personally find it very difficult to assume the playing style of CJ/ BI or how it will translate this year with a PG.
We could start the year and Murray/ BI mesh while CJ takes a step back. We have no fricking clue.
Regardless of how fans feel personally about CJ, the game plan has always been to make him replaceable. Whether thats BI, Hawk, or no one on this team.
The hope is that CJ becomes replaceable by players being better and not my him being worse.
We should see CJ's role shrink or become more defined this year which hopefully should fix some of the current concerns.

Besides the fact that CJ was actually one of the only guys on the team that wasn't straight arse in the clutch last year, what a random thought and terrible thread to start.

Is it a dramatic thread? Yeah
Is it a legitimate concern? Based on last season yes.
Can we base this season on last season? No.
It's the offseason, let em have it.

Stupid for being able to develop a thought past "player good" "player bad"?
Lick my nuts pal.
We in fact do not want any late game CJ iso ball...
Is that too complex for you?

CJ averaged 1.3 shots in clutch time
Zion averaged 1.3
Ingram averaged 1.9
CJ shot 47.8% on those shots
Zion shot 45.7%
Ingram 42.9%
CJ was +0.6 in clutch minutes
Zion was +0.2
Ingram was -0.9
CJ was not the problem buddy
LINK
Murray would have been the least clutch top 4 player on the team last season.
He averaged 38.8% shooting on 2.5 shots per game and was a -1.4….

Bad words about CJ were said, we are about to get 5 pages.
In all seriousness tho CJ was not "clutch" last year and fricked up a good bit in late game moments. That doesn't mean BI was better..
What all of that does mean is that neither should have been primary PG in late game/ clutch time.
That has been fixed.

CJ was our most clutch player in the regular season. Without CJ's clutch play in the regular season, we likely don't even make the playoffs. That's why threads like this are dumb.

Ehhh. I'm pretty sure we were undefeated when playing from behind in the 4th quarter. And not undefeated in a good way.
CJ was our best regular season player and CJ also did win us games by playing well.
He did not really dig us out of many holes and he definitely didn't have a bunch of clutch comeback games.
Shooting 6-8 and then 1-3 with 2TO in a crunch or tight game isn't "clutch".
In just as many games that he helped us pull away he also helped teams close the gap.
And for the 3rd year in a row, It's less about CJ's shooting ability and more about his decision making.
I'm not concerned because we have Murray to do the quick thinking in clutch now. CJ can just shoot

No I disagree with the fact that CJ could kill someone and you'd defend him with your life. It's nauseating.
Even with my bs rants about Dyson I acknowledged the spots he was weak and harped on the things he did well for argument.
You will straight up try to take CJ's worst qualities and make them into another good quality. Because he can't have a bad quality, he's the only NBA player that's perfect.
When his hand was hurt you wouldn't even acknowledge he was shooting bad. You used it as an excuse which clearly means he was indeed shooting bad, but still couldn't say anything negative about him.
Its weird man
I actually just remembered that one of your responses to him playing bad was "well the end of the bench players played worse, look at these stats".

What is your uhhhh in reference to?
My response was to Shel refusing to acknowledge the areas where CJ struggles.
You want to tell me which players I've defended and also refused to acknowledge their struggles?
There isn't one.
Being weird or nauseating is a different conversation...

That's not what happened. CJ was fine in the clutch. Zion and BI were bad in the clutch. How do you read those facts and come away thinking otherwise?
In fact, your hypothetical mentioned CJ having 2 turnovers in crunch time in ONE game. When in reality, CJ has exactly 1 turnover in the clutch over the entire season, but I'd bet any amount you would have guessed he had a shite ton of them based on your previous posts and your "2TO in crunch time" line of 1 game
