You just never know. Who thought there would be as good of a white RB as Christian Mccaffrey? It could happen again.

Could be psychological.... "Hey look, not many brothers in this race.....I got this!"
Or it could be simply...."not many brothers in this race.".
Certainly, a less intimidating field for a white dude from Scotland to wrap his head around in believing. Although Scots were known as pretty damn fast when they competed at the turn of last century....see Eric Liddell. Wells won in 1980 with a 10.25; 4 years later Carl Lewis won with a 9.99.

There was a white HS kid blowing up social media a year or two ago who was crushing everyone in 100M. Whatever happened to him?
Edit: Mathew Boling is his name. Apparently was at UGA but quit to focus on Olympics.
Edit 2: and I guess it was long than a year or two since he’s 24. Damn time flies.

Kostas Kenteris. He won the world championship in 2001 after winning gold in the 200 at the Sydney Olympics in 2000.

And that time in 1976 would have had him tied for 5th with a guy from Panama. He would have been behind Trinidad & Tobago, Jamaica, Soviet Union, & US
