Really hope he takes the next step because the talent level there is best in the room IMO. I understand why Williams had the bigger role last year, but I think to maximize the run game and truly make it a weapon Jackson needs to be "that guy" at points for us. There's no more Jayden running 8-12 times a game any more.

I think LSU’s RB room, assuming health/availability (looking at you JoshWilliams/JohnEmerey), will be a strength of this team.

Kaleb is the X-factor for that success.

Feed him! I want to see 17-20 carries per game.

I haven't seen anything about Emery's knee. Assuming all is good for him to play this fall?

Assuming he killed it in the weight room he is only gonna get better. Showed flashes last year just needs the touches. Will need to rely on him a lot. Williams will be great but we need a feature back as well.

Caden will be the surprise, he'll be electric!

Long term, I agree. But he will struggle to find playing time next year with Kaleb Jackson and Josh Williams taking the majority of the snaps and John Emery most likely getting the remainder.

He will be. I have him as my breakout player of the year.

He handles kickoff returns for me on CFB25 and he's got some speed to him. We've taken to calling him little leonard around the Johnson household

Yes he is. I moved him ahead of Josh Williams on my depth chart.

We only have like 3-4 backs barring the availability of holly. There’s plenty of snaps to go around there. Last couple years it felt like we had a 7 man rotation at the position

I'm worried that we are going to run Josh Williams too much because he "does all the little things" better

Me too! I didn’t think I’d see anyone close to Fournette this soon!

I would assume he would take that as a challenge & rise to it.

There is a pretty good incoming freshman.
