I stand corrected on Secret Service sniper team. *Neither sniper on barn made kill shot*

Rewatched video several times…and its worse than I originally opined.
Sniper kneeling with back straight:
He comes off his glass (scope) just prior
to shots ringing out. This is a no-no unless you have another gun up to give you a break…we’ll get to that below. Furthermore, once first shot is heard, kneeler jerks his rifle downward - no way he got off an accurate shot and then pulls back almost as if he was ducking fire. If his second shot hit the assassin it was a heck of a shot as he barely got back on the glass…basically a snap
shot.
Sniper kneeling low: When shots ring out, this sniper absolutely DOES NOT return fire; he ducks and pulls back as if to take cover from the rounds.
It’s possible the assassin shot first at the sniper team…no clue, but may explain the ducking and jiving of both snipers.
Just my 2 cents worth.

I’ve watched it several times and neither one of the Secret Service snipers on the barn roof made the kill shot.
No way in heck can you make a head shot from over a 100 yards away juking and jiving.
The kill shot came from someone else closer in.

“ Brandon Christie, a witness at the Trump rally on Saturday, told "Hannity" that he initially mistook the "pop" of a gunshot as a speaker crackling but soon realized the severity of the situation as people began to scream.
He and his relatives quickly ducked down to the ground as one Secret Service member allegedly discharged his weapon several times in the direction of the shooter.”
Possibly this is SS Agent responsible for putting him down.

Nah, the guy laying down smoked him IMO.
The kneeler just supplied a full video “what not to do” instruction manual for future counter snipers.

Listening to the eye witness account and watching the counter sniper video, I believe the counter snipers saw the shooter on the roof and were trying to get a good target simultaneously while the shooter began firing on Trump. I don’t think the high sniper landed the kill shot, it was likely the sniper laying next to him.
Or, maybe another counter sniper away from those two got the hit.

No sir, I disagree. Watch the video and you’ll see the low man is adjusting his position on the gun just as shots ring out so no way he was on the assassin…he also ducks for cover a second later.
No sniper shoots at a target and then ducks for cover if not under fire.

Shouldn’t that building have been covered? I mean if the SS wasn’t going to secure it with manpower physically then a sniper should have been deployed to put that building on over watch? That was the one building that was the biggest threat. It is incomprehensible to think that SS and local LEO let such a dangerous position go uncovered after JFK was murdered in much the same was as today played out.

It’s puzzling, you see the high sniper rock back on his gun as if he actually got the first shot off. Maybe the shooter began firing at Trump before he was actually ready because of the first counter sniper’s missed or non-fatal shot

No sir, his rocking back was not due to recoil, it was inertia from trying to reacquire sight picture on target after rounds were fired by assassin.
Watch the video and you’ll see as the high sniper lifts his head off the glass - just a millisecond later - the assassin fires.

Go outside with a cardboard paper towel tube. Now ask your friend, wife, whoever to pick a target in your neighborhood. A certain flower, sign, mailbox, whatever. Now look through that tube and have them (spotter) bark out directions on where and what the target is. You have 15 seconds to find it without taking your head out of the tube. Come back here and let me know how you do.
I’m no sniper but I compete in PRS and NRL hunter competitions. My targets don’t shoot back. It’s amazing to me he only had to come out of that scope once. This guy knows what he’s doing.

Absolutely nothing you just said makes any sense to me.
And I was a sniper on a SWAT team where I supported the SS in multiple presidential events, so I am Monday morning quarterbacking with at least having had some skin in the game.

I said it earlier but I think this sniper may have hit the guy in the bleachers. The assassin was lying in a prone position with his eyes on Trump. Trump’s movement was downward not towards the crowd behind him. The bleachers where the support got shot are behind Trump’s right shoulder and not in the direct line of fire. From the shooters position he would need to swing the rifle significantly to his left to catch the guy in the bleachers… the SS agents barrel drops as shots ring out and he jerks the rifle out of position. He was clearly startled and could have easily squeezed off an unintentional round
