The guy who didn't live his gimmick. The guy who was his gimmick.

Of all the all time greats, Macho Man might be the most underrated, complete package

In my opinion he’s the perfect wrestler.

Great look
Great gimmick
Great in-ring worker
Great promo

When I worked at UNO, I went into a storage area and their were numerous boxes full of his brother's frisbees, I guess they forgot to pack them back up after a show in Lakefront arena.

My buddy used to deliver water in Sarasota, FL & one day he got a delivery for Mario Poffo. He said he nearly fainted when Randy Savage answered the door. He said Savage was exactly the same irl as he was on television.

The older I get the more I enjoy Randy Savage, and continue to rank him higher and higher. Greatest of all time is a fun debate. My favorite list.

1. Shawn Michaels: His ability to steal the show in damn near every major PPV is wild. From the Rockers, solo career, DX, and even when he came back after injury was still top notch.

2. Rick Flair: The guy was near or at the top for 40 years. Completely changed how in ring matches told a story. The rumor is he's had somewhere around 2,000 hour long matches.

3 Savage: The dudes entire life was his character. Never broke it. Reinvented himself with The King. Great mix of power and flight. The story between him and Jake the Snake Roberts and the Cobra is an all timer.

4. Brett Hart / Undertaker: Although Brett is a little annoying as he's gotten older the dude was able call some incredible matches. I wish he worked for WWE now and NXT to teach the youngsters about slowing down and selling. Undertaker; was a freakshow from the moment he walked in. Then they kept but somehow shook the creepy dead guy vibe. Maybe just lessoned the cheese factor, and reinvented himself as the biker taker.

Honorable Mention:
1. Andre The Giant - watching his younger matches he was surprising athletic. I just never could understand what he actually was saying.

Then there's all the other all timers. Hogan, Stone Cold, The Rock, and Roman Reigns.

I think Mr. Fuji, who Crush joined with Yokozuna, was my favorite valet/manager of all time:

Bald old asian man wearing a robe and flip-flops that threw salt in people's faces.

Pre-neck Surgery WWF Austin w/the earring and chain was maybe the only other modern guy I can think of that was in the same league with Savage.

That era Austin had the look, the size, the intensity, the promo, and was a hell of a worker. He didn't have the pure magnetism and controlled tornado chaos that Savage had though.
