Does he have a connection with BK? I'm sure they have met over the years, but anything else?

I would say zero. If Belichick wanted to be coaching college football right now, he would be. He’s in town for the Manning Passing Academy

His first few rings with the Pats came with a good few LSU players on the rosters. Kevin Faulk, Marquise Hill (RIP), Randall Gay, Brian Kinchen, Jarvis Green
He also has an affinity for Bert Jones as an all time QB talent. Needless to say I think Bill likes him some LSU players. I don't think he would want to coach at the college level though
