Guess he can’t hit

i understand him not playing, but i don't get bingham getting chances over him.

Yea Bingham doesn’t bring anything to the plate

Did fine his last at bat.

Didn’t Bingham get a RBI base hit in the 9th? Now is a really weird time to be complaining about Kling not playing.

Would love to see him in year 3 of CJJ's system but got a feeling he's moving on next year one way or another.

yeah that's easy to say he did well his last AB, but he hasn't done much lately.
my point is all things equal enough why not Kling for a little more upside. and for the possibility maybe he returns next season. i guess that's still unlikely?
my complaint isn't this game specific though. i just don't get more Bingham lately when Kling was kind of playing better.

He is not the answer to our hitting problems.

How many games have you watched? CJJ stayed with Kling for over 35 games with BA sitting on .200.
He will have to break down his approach and start again. He’s a fantastic defensive player.

I don’t think Kling was available today.
When they announced the whole team prior to the game, they said his name, but he didn’t come out

Stats pre D1 Basball:
Batting Avg OBP Slugging % Runs HR RBI
Bingham .252 .371 .423 27 8 25
Kling .220 ..413 .317 27 1 21
All these offensive stats are fairly close, but Bingham's are a little better. Kinda difficult to make a convincing argument for either one over the other unless you need a home run or other extra base hit where Bingham's stats are obviously better.

Because he can't hit lol. & if you're asking why Bingham gets pinch hit opportunities over him it's because Bingham can actually hit occasionally compared to Kling not being able to hit. Ever. At all.

Please stop with the “where’s Kling”. He had over half a season to figure out the hole in his swing.

No. Bingham went 0 for 2 today. That was not a base hit. It was an error and therefore he did not get a hit or an RBI.

Could have easily been a hit also. Bingham hit it hard though. I hate Bingham's little chop thing in his warmup before hitting. This isn't softball

Now go compile the stats of Bingham, Kling, and Brown since the beginning of April and everyone in this thread would be very surprised to see that Kling would look better than Brown or Bingham in OBP and BA. And for the record, Bingham would be last.

Any more info on this?
Kling had an ok series at Bama. Was surprised he didn't get more PT vs OM (and since).
