Was the worse pain I have ever experienced. Wife bought me a PS5 for when I was recovering and I never opened it.

I will say Sonic slushies saved me though. If you can have a steady supply of those your golden.

As a 38 year old that went through a hemorrhoidectomy a year and a half ago, believe me, getting your tonsils out is a vacation.

There were a few days immediately after the surgery that I understood why people contemplate suicide. The pain was unimaginable.

It was worth doing because I had severe hemorrhoids that were affecting my quality of life. But I'd probably jump off a cliff before getting that surgery again.

Also forgot to start taking the Miralax soon enough after the procedure and thought I was impacted. Went to the Colorectal surgeon and he had to digitally examine me. This was about 3 or 4 days after surgery. When he stuck that finger in I literally saw starts like on the old cartoons. Stitches popped.
