Let me preface this by saying I agree with everything he said other than telling women they should embrace being a homemaker and staying at home to raise their kids right after they graduated from college. Might have been bad timing? I am 100% pro-life, pro-God, and anti "gender affirming care", but I do feel like he could have skipped that one part. Especially after these women just spent thousands on a degree at a Catholic university. It is easy for his wife to stay home and take care of their kids while he is making millions. My wife surely would love to stay home and do that but we can't afford to do that. Many people are probably in this same situation.

You could afford it.

He got a standing ovation. It was perfect timing for the audience he was tailing to.

You fell for it. You're on the hook.
He didn't tell women they should stay at home and be homemakers. He told a group of religious women at a Catholic university that they may go on on to successful careers but the most important and rewarding thing they can do, more important than any career, is to be wives and mothers. Ohhh my God the horror. Why would he say such a thing?!

BS! My wife and I both worked. The key, IMO, is that I accepted and enjoyed helping with the boys as well as doing whatever it took to keep the home front stable.
We've been blessed.
