I'll say it again - Canada needs regime change.

I bet Canada's elections are rigged.

Trudeau is not "ruining" Canada. It's a planned decline. It's completely deliberate and Canadians all voted for and won't do shite. Their just as cucked as white leftists.

I would happily merge with Alberta.

Let some of those Alberta and Manitoba boys handle things.

You think our beef prices are high now? Just wait.
I know two people who have small herds. The prices are going to get higher.

I only stopped on the sirloins, which were $11.95/lb. USD That's not insane.
Lots of dumbasses online don't understand a kg is 2.2 lbs, and the Canadian dollar is worth 73% of a USD.

I think the national herd size is at its lowest in several years.

I'm glad I haven't HAD to buy beef, pork, or fish in over a year. Every time I see the prices I cringe. Yeah, I spend a good bit of money hunting/fishing but at least they're hobbies that keep the freezer full.

I'd say we're only 1 step behind Canada with the inane policies and money grubbing federal taxes. Trudeau has a carbon tax for which there is no accountability for where the funds are allocated,

I did a little calculation. It looks like groceries are 25-30% higher at this Costco versus southern Louisiana.

That's in Canadian dollars, not US $
No wonder everthing is 30% higher, that's the difference in currency exchange rates.

It's not shocking to me that Canada has higher prices, given they're a more regulatory state, but it's not a huge difference.

Wife duplicated an online order on Walmart app as a test. The same exact items that totaled 350'ish a couple years ago were over $900 as of yesterday. Exact same order.

Suck a beautiful country. It a shame they have a commie running it.

Shhh!
The baws think they got a bunch of liberal cucks on the run north of the border.
Trudeau let his herds get smaller and didn't have the foresight to create better weather and market conditions. Idiot!

Looks like they pay about the same price for 24 cans of soft drinks versus 36 cans.

I took that into account. I multiplied Canadian prices by 0.73 (the exchange rate) and compared those prices to on a per pound basis to the prices online to get an apples to apples comparison.

Converting kilograms to pounds and Canadian currency to USD, it worked out to about $3.65 a pound for ground beef. How does that compare to here?
