3 separate shootings last night. One in the Jefferson/Bluebonnet corridor.
That area in particular getting quite ghetto. I often see Dodge Charger donut tracks at that intersection in the mornings.

Damn. That's my old street. Grew up there. Could have been me.
I thought all of the old houses were being torn down in the older part of Jefferson Terrace and replaced with McMansions? At least that is what happened with my old house. Then again, I haven't passed through there is about 5 or 6 years.

How did they fail to mention that two of those shootings were less than a quarter mile from one another?

This is my “neighborhood” but we are more towards the back.
Curious what the story behind this one is.

That’s the kickoff of murder season in the news reporting world.

We moved from Shreveport to Haughton last year. It doesn’t seem like that big of a move. But it’s a night and day difference. We lived in a “good” part of Shreveport and still heard sirens or gunshots almost every night. We hear almost none of that now.

Let's face it, when it's that hot, I want to kill something too.

I live in the suburbs of Charlotte and some idiots where trying to donut in our neighborhood. Just barely missed getting a license plate, but I'll be ready if there's a next time. Assholes, there are plenty of kids in this neighborhood, but those pieces of vermin excrement don't have the cognitive ability to think 5 minutes into the future.
It's like they, on a base level, know that hoodrat shite makes their shite hole of a living situation slightly worse and want to bring it to the burbs. That would require a cognitive function that is above their current capability of reasoning.

Looks like the shooting was at the circle K. I sometimes stop there to get gas or an energy drink on my way to work.
The man that was shot has since succumbed to his injuries.
Damn.

I heard the shots at the Shell Station on Floynell. 8-10 by the same gun in succession. Then it sounded like a drag race.

No doubt in my mind that the lack of impulse control, instant gratification and zero regard for human life is a product of Developmental Delays. The question for the medical community that will never be studied for obvious reasons, would be: Is this a result of their upbringing or is it inherited? Or C, combo of both.
